The wine

Vibrations is the name of the cuvée where Mathieu Deiss revisits Riesling au naturel in the commune of Bennwihr. The expression of this respect for nature, the fruit of an old vineyard planted by his ancestor "le Rêveur", a secretive, misanthropic and somewhat dowsing character. Here, stony quaternary deposits reinforce the wines' fine, youthful, tonic mineral expression. The result is a fresh, taut Riesling with citrus notes. The palate is mineral, taut, precise and vibrant... This wine, ten thousand miles away from Rieslings with petrol notes, will capture you with its individuality, naturalness and originality. Le Vignoble du Rêveur is first and foremost Mathieu Deiss, son of Jean-Michel, with whom he manages an Alsatian institution, the Marcel Deiss estate, a family story that has put terroir, not grape variety, at the heart of its history, with complantation as the common thread.

The estate

Le Vignoble du Rêveur was born of Mathieu's desire for independence and freedom. To rebuild his grandfather's dream, to reconstruct a future without restrictions, to reinvent wine right down to its very definition, to break codes, push aside walls and open our eyes wide, to say to ourselves that anything is possible. This is the philosophy behind the estate, which he is committed to running organically and biodynamically, and which, together with his partner Emmanuelle Milan, allows him to explore all possibilities in Bennwihr and the surrounding area.
